These unbiased alternatives enable local decision makers to consider and evaluate multiple options before arriving at important conclusions that impact significant populations in local communities.

Scope of Work

• Impact Demographics’ expert staff will confer with district officials to understand relevant criteria and desirable scenarios. In this process, unique factors, such as the importance of separating any attendance zones by natural or man-made boundaries including rivers and highways, will be brought to light.
• A pinpoint-accurate demographic database will be created.
• Impact Demographics can produce tables and maps with representative enrollments along a variety of possible characteristics (i.e. race and ethnic origin data, socioeconomic information or other characteristics). Tables will be provided for each characteristic indicating the number of students under each attendance zone scenario.
• Utilizing facility capacity information, Impact Demographics will calculate optimum capacities at each campus and ensure that sufficient room is available at each campus under each scenario
• Multiple attendance zone scenarios will be created along with 8½" x 11" color maps to clearly display the attendance zones.
• Upon final attendance zone approvals by local officials, Impact Demographics can produce a 3' x 4' color map to display the new attendance zone boundaries.
